back bending, twists). Classes will build to one or two

limitations and less experience. Enjoy easy-to-learn vinyasa

Practicing yoga to honor our bodies, for total health and well being.

RESTORATIVE YOGA-Thurs 4:00
|
If you want to "relax" in yoga, this is the class for you. We
do very little movement but lots of relaxing. We use many
props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets and eye
bags to support us in various postures. In one hour we
may change positions only 6 or 7 times. You'll hear some
nice music, maybe some beautiful poetry and you'll leave
feeling totally renewed.
It's about learning to relax the body and mind, learning to
"be" rather than to "do", and learning to be truely present
in your own body. It's rejuvenation, relaxation and renewal.
4:00 PM --Thursdays
Using the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa sequence as a
template. Providing modifications and variations as
needed in each class. Applying Embodyoga priciples,
making the sequence more managable and safer to
produce a positive, more energetic result. The class is
an hour and forty five minutes long, reserving the last
half hour for finishing postures.
